2 months

Look at that face! Yesterday our little little warrior turned two months. Mary calls Noah the little warrior (pronounced boyer), so that makes Thomas the little little warrior. Around six weeks he started only waking up once at night which is SO nice. It makes getting up that much easier when it's just one time! He is a pretty relaxed little guy when he's awake...which isn't often. But luckily he sleeps very well in his sling so we still get out pretty frequently.

 He's started smiling a lot. I love the baby age because they are so easy to get to smile. Then they learn to walk and don't want to give me the time of day!

I will be very interested to see how much weight he's gained when we go to his appointment this week. He seems like he's grown a TON to me. He takes up so much more room on my lap now. He's such a joy to us and makes all of us laugh. Especially with how gassy he is:) If you are around him and start to smell something funky...i promise it's him (90% of the time!).

I took some more pictures of the kiddos to have some wallets and other pictures made as their 2 and 4 year photos. It was a little rough as neither of them wanted to have their picture taken.We will start with a couple outtakes and you can see what 90% of the pictures look like:

Lake Cumberland

We went to Lake Cumberland for a long weekend last weekend. It was a very welcome and relaxing break! We literally only left our little resort we were staying in twice. Once to go pick up a couple things at Walmart, and once to go out to dinner. That is why my pictures from the trip aren't too exciting:

After we went out to dinner we stopped by a marina to see some boats. But it rained on us so we didn't stay too long:

We are boring vacationers, but we think those are the best kinds of vacations!

Ms. Kait's Wedding

Last weekend one of my good friends and one of Mary's best babysitters got married! Ian also knows the groom well so all three of us were in the wedding! It was so much fun. I have known this couple for 6 years and it was such great thing to be able to see. They are great together and I think will do great things for the kingdom of God!

2 years ago today...

 I was pushing this little man out!

We went to chuck e cheese today to celebrate and I almost cried as we sang happy birthday. He had a huge smile on his face and sat there looking at his cupcake cake so joyful. He is a joyful boy! We are so glad God gave him to us. He is usually the life of the party and loves bringing a smile to your face.

July 3

For some reason Fairfield does a big fireworks show on the 3rd of July instead of the 4th. We have gone each year and it is so fun to watch! This year some friends invited us over to their house because you can see the fireworks from their front yard! It was a wonderful night filled with desserts and drinks for the adults and the kids...well they ran around the backyard until the dropped:

Then they watched a show until the fireworks started:

You can see the remnants of Mary's black eye in this picture. She is a hoarder and likes to carry things with her ALL THE TIME. She does not let go. Even when she is falling over. So that's where the black eye came from!
